Diversity continues to be one of the big issues boards are tackling today, and in a rapidly-shifting and increasingly competitive environment, organisations expect their executives to have a viewpoint on this issue and to be actively involved in creating change.
Our guest speaker Eva Skira will share her career journey with a focus on commercial and NFP board roles, discussing the fast pace of change and what diversity means for the boardroom in 2020 and beyond. Eva will provide insights for executives looking towards board roles, and there will be ample time for Q&A and networking.

Eva Skira has a background in banking, capital markets, stockbroking and financial markets, previously holding executive positions at the Commonwealth Bank and later with stockbroker Barclays de Zoete Wedd. Subsequently, she has served on a number of boards in business, government and the not-for-profit sectors across a range of industries.
Eva is currently Chair of ASX-Listed Macmahon Ltd, Chair of the Trustees of St John of God Health Care Inc and a Non-Executive Director for Western Power, WA Parks Foundation and the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA). As a Director, Eva has chaired a number of Audit, Compliance and Risk Committees.
Eva was recognised in the 2019 Australia Day Honours list and awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for business.
