We are delighted to invite you to our next conference: “China, Modernity, and State-led development, A Wider Lens on Business and Economic Power.”
At a time when China is reshaping global economic dynamics, whether we pay attention to it or not, we felt it was important to take a closer look, beyond simplified narratives.
For this special event, we are honored to welcome Dr. Li Cheng, a postdoctoral researcher and specialist of Chinese culture and contemporary economic and social systems, currently affiliated with the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas of the University of Lisbon (ISCSP/ULisboa).
Together, we will explore how culture and state development shape Chinese business and economic power, and what this means for leaders and entrepreneurs. We will also reflect on how Portugal can position itself in this economic and cultural evolving landscape, as a small yet dynamic economic player in Europe.
After the conference, we will be happy to share some drinks and discussions.
