Tarmacadam is the name of the new show written and performed by Lou Lefèvre, a 2013 Sup de Co graduate who became an actress after leaving school.

Lou tells us her story in this play she wrote:

"An 8-year-old girl leaves Paris for Conakry, a distant city. Apparently, it's in the middle of the desert. A father takes his family to the other side of the world for work.

Between France and Guinea, there is a 6-hour flight and an ocean of tears.

A departure, a crossing, an arrival.

This initiatory journey will disturb and permanently mark her.

She becomes white when she sees Blacks.

We experience the clash of cultures through the eyes of this amazed child. Her fears and apprehensions, the difficulties she has to understand and integrate, the joys of everyday life, the unexpected encounters, her fascination with life elsewhere.

And then the love of a continent that will live in her forever."

You can see Lou on stage every Sunday afternoon at 3pm at the Salle La Cible, 2 Bis Rue Jean-Baptiste Pigalle, Paris, in the 9th district.
